Joe Diffie with host Suzanne Alexander of "GAC Daily Countdown." |
(NASHVILLE)--Joe Diffie stopped by the GAC Studios in Music City to chat with “GAC Daily Countdown" host Suzanne Alexander about his brand-new single, “Girl Ridin’ Shotgun,” and catch up on his touring schedule and life in general.
The new single, co-written by Diffie, Phil O’Donnell and Derek Thrasher of The Jawga Boyz is a fun, up-tempo song that's an answer tune to Jason Aldean's recent "1994" hit. Diffie's performance features D. Thrash (Derek Thrasher) of The Jawga Boyz complementing Diffie’s signature vocals.
The clip, directed by Blake Judd and produced by Judd and Cory B. Clay of JuddFilms and Bigger Picture Group, was shot in Greensburg, Ky., and features scenes depicting summertime fun with the best of them. Joe is even driving a sporty orange convertible with his wife and daughters, who are along for the ride.
